Reason 1,285 why California is broke.

This a musical road that is in Lancaster, CA, about 30 minutes from our house. They carved into the road so that when you drive over it, you hear the William Tell Overture. It was in a different location last year, but it was too loud and the neighbors close-by complained. So they filled in that road and then moved about a mile away to a street that is not close to houses. We video taped our car driving over the road. Sorry that the camera is shaking...I was laughing as we drove because the road is kinda silly.

I heard it was built by Honda and that if you drive a specific speed in a civic, it is on pitch and timed perfectly...don't know, never done it myself...but I do have a friend with a civic and we plan to try it out!!

I've been meaning to comment about this...hahahaha! It just makes me laugh when I think about it! Isn't this the road on the honda commercial? Let's hope they paid and not your taxes! ;)
